Celebration of 20 Years of Memorable Experiences within the Historic Walls of NH Collection Prague Carlo IV

NH Collection Prague Carlo IV, nestled within a historic neorenaissance palace, commemorated a momentous milestone on 20th February 2024 as the iconic building celebrated 20 years since its transformation into a remarkable hotel destination. The event, held in the grandeur of the neorenaissance palace dating back to 1890, also marked a significant chapter in the hotel's history with its rebranding in 2020 as NH Collection Prague Carlo IV, a distinguished member of the Minor Hotel Group.

The gala evening welcomed esteemed guests, partners, and dignitaries to partake in an extraordinary culinary experience crafted by the hotel's renowned chefs. Executive Chef of the hotel, Radek Benetka, alongside Culinary Director of Minor Hotel Group Northern Europe, Chris Naylor, and Executive Chef Vojtěch Šiller, from sister NH hotels in Prague delighted attendees with a sumptuous array of delicacies, showcasing the hotel's commitment to culinary excellence.

A highlight of the evening was the charitable initiative in support of the Happy Hearts Czech Fund, dedicated to helping children in areas affected by natural disasters return to school. Karolina Bosakova, one of the fund's founders, attended the event, emphasizing the importance of education in rebuilding communities. The charity raffle raised over 2000 EUR contributing to children in need.

Martin Žídek, General Manager of NH Collection Prague Carlo IV, expressed heartfelt gratitude to guests and partners for their unwavering support and generosity. Guests were treated to an enchanting musical experience throughout the evening. Upon arrival, they were serenaded by the harp soloist of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. Ambient melodies filled the air, courtesy of two talented jazz guitarists, Lukáš Chejn and Jiří Kovář. The highlight of the night was a captivating concert by celebrated swing singer Jan Smigmator & Band, followed by a lively DJ set that kept the festivities going until the late hours.
