Prague InSpires Educational Trip for US Buyers
Prague Convention Bureau in cooperation with Delta Air Lines will organize a FAM Trip for 7 highly qualified USA buyers which will take place from 11th to 15th August. The program includes Prague sightseeing tours provided by Prague Information Service, site inspections of selected PCB member venues and several others. The contact person is Jitka Kolarova.
ICCA Central European Chapter Meeting
From 22nd to 24th August, Prague Convention Bureau will attend the Summer Session of the ICCA Central European Chapter which will take place in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Prague Convention Bureau will be represented by Dagmar Brožová.

Prague Convention Bureau has recently welcomed a new Gold member – Mandarin Oriental Prague in the category of Hotels.

Prague Convention Bureau is strengthening its position in the North American market (U.S.A. and Canada) which belongs to its key markets. The association’s new North American representative Martina Fundaro (formerly Martina Kvašová) has been a member of Prague Convention Bureau´s team for almost three years as a Marketing & PR Manager. Ruzyně Airport Construction Began Eighty Years Ago
Václav Havel Airport Prague has recently noted the 80th anniversary of the start of construction. Over its eight decades, the airport's surface area has doubled in size and it has handled more than two hundred billion passengers on more than four million flights. …Prague Medical Emergency celebrates 155th anniversary this year
155 is not only the phone number of the Prague Medical Emergency (Ambulance/ First Aid), but also the age of this institution. In the time of its beginnings its team consisted only of 36 volunteers, 3 of them medical educated. Prague Medical Emergency, which was established in 1857, thus belongs to the oldest Medical Emergencies in the world.

Past Congresses
WONCA 2013

WONCA´s 20th World Conference (World Organization of National Colleges, Academies and Academic Associations of General Practitioners/Family Physicians) was held in Prague, in the Czech Republic, June 25th to June 29th, 2013. The opening ceremony was attended by the WHO Director-General, Dr. Margaret Chan. This year’s conference attracted over 3 600 participants from all over the world. 24th International Nursing Research Congress

From 22nd to 26th July 2013 the 24th International Nursing Research Congress took place in Hilton Prague. This international forum is the place for the exchange of evidence-based practices and solutions among nurse researchers, clinicians, educators, policy makers, and administrators. More than 700 participants had the opportunity to network while learning more about what nurse researchers from around the globe are doing to advance the science of nursing using innovation and new technologies. The congress was organized by the Exclusive Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI).
