The world’s largest airline, American Airlines, brings the Czech Republic and the USA one step closer today, by launching direct service between Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). Prague Ranked the World’s Greenest City
Dutch holiday agency TravelBird published its Green Cities Index 2018 this week. The index recognizes the destinations with the largest effort to act sustainably by preserving ecological areas, as well as increasing their man-made green locations. Prague was ranked first with 57% of the green area and seventh considering the square metres of green area per person, which gives a perfect idea, how much green space can every inhabitant or traveller enjoy in the city.
Prague Airport Operating Results for the Q1 2018
Prague Airport operating results for the first quarter of 2018 have confirmed the expected growth in passenger numbers. This year, the estimates expect to see a 10% growth. In the first three months of the year, Václav Havel Airport Prague handled a total of 3,057,100 passengers, representing a 12.4% growth year-on-year, whereas over 338 thousand fewer passengers were handled during the same period of 2017.
