Prague Transportation System Ranked Fifth Best in the World
Prague public transportation system has been considered as the leading one for a long time not only in Europe, but worldwide. FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) ranked Prague public transportation fourth best in Europe in 2010. The new worldwide Sustainable Cities Mobility Index 2017 report compiled by analysts from design, engineering and consultancy group Arcadis placed Prague on the fifth place.
Airport Prague to be Connected with 112 Destinations in Winter Season
On Sunday, 29 October 2017, the winter schedule came into effect at Václav Havel Airport Prague. 61 airlines plan to operate at Václav Havel Airport Prague during the winter season, with 56 air carriers servicing passenger routes. The new schedule features regular connections to 112 destinations, which is eight more than during the same period last year. Passengers can also look forward to flights to 11 new destinations.

SAS Scandinavian Airlines To Launch Prague - Oslo Route
SAS Scandinavian Airlines has launched ticket sales for its new route which will connect the capital of Oslo with Václav Havel Airport Prague. Direct flights on the route will be launched on 29 March 2018 with a twice weekly frequency of arrivals and departures, namely on Thursdays and Sundays.
Why is the road to ICCA Congress in Prague accompanied by bridges?
The combination of words "Bridge to Prague" arose from the reference to the 660th anniversary of the Charles Bridge construction, as its foundation stone was laid in 1357. It is one of the most significant historical monuments and its construction is one of the most important milestones in the history of Prague. A milestone showing the way to something new, similarly to the Charles Bridge construction, is also the 56th International ICCA Congress, which Prague has the opportunity to welcome this year. And since we firmly believe that ICCA is as solid and compact as the Charles Bridge, we chose the Bridge as the main building block and pillar in promoting and organizing this year's Congress.
ICCA RECORD BROKEN: 1 076 already registered attendees
From 2nd to 3rd October, another site inspection for the ICCA association was held. The aim of the meeting was to finalize the details of the 56th ICCA Congress that will be held soon in Prague (from 12th to 15th November 2017).
Václav Havel Airport Prague Conquers Another Record
Václav Havel Airport Prague has experienced the three strongest summer months in terms of operations, handling record 4,912,087 passengers from June to August 2017, with most of flights headed to Moscow, Paris, London and Amsterdam. Thanks to the season, a significant year-on-year growth was experienced by Antalya and Burgas, popular holiday destinations, while travellers from Prague also shown increased interest in Tel Aviv, Israel.
