Ryanair has announced the launch of three new air connections from Václav Havel Airport Prague
Ryanair, an Irish low-cost airline, has announced the launch of three new air connections from Václav Havel Airport Prague. Effective the start of the 2017 winter season, its new routes will head to the Spanish cities of Barcelona (daily) and Madrid (4 times a week), and to Krakow, Poland (twice weekly). Václav Havel Airport Prague will thus be connected by direct scheduled flights with the Polish city.
Last year, Václav Havel Airport Prague handled 13,074,517 passengers
Our largest airport has thus recorded a growth of 8.7% compared to last year. Passengers were most interested in travelling by air in July which, with 1.5 million handled passengers, has become, historically, the best month. On average, 35.7 thousand passengers passed through the gates of the airport each day. The recent positive trend of growing numbers among local travellers, for whom Prague was both the starting and the final destination, has also continued. Compared to last year, the number of local passengers has grown by 9.7%, exceeding the historical record of 2015.
Pharmacoepidemiology introduces the recent advances in Prague in 2018
ICPE conference is an annual meeting iniciated by ISPE and it usually attracts 1 500 delegates. This conference is engaged with advanced trends in pharmacoepidemiology (P-epi), which is a science started to develop from the end of 60´s. It is a brunch of epidemiology and built good platform for co-operation of physicians, pharmacists, epidemiologist, pharmacologist, statisticians and other professionals.
Prague Wins the Prestigious Top Meeting Destination Award Again
Representatives of the Prague Convention Bureau received the 2016 Top Meeting Destination award at the annual Conventa trade fair in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 18th January, 2017. The prize is awarded by Slovenian Kongres magazine to the destinations from Central and South East Europe region since 2011, in accordance with the evaluation based on destination's infrastructure, marketing activities and other indexes. Prague thus follows up on its achievements in previous years: the city occupied the second position in the Meeting Star contest twice, and in 2013 it even won the first prize.

Czech Airlines To Launch New Malmö - Prague Route in 2017 Summer Season
Czech Airlines extends its timetable by adding a new regular Malmö – Prague service. Alongside Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping and Växjö, Malmö is the fifth destination in Sweden to where Czech Airlines will be operating regular scheduled flights.
AIM Group International co-organized Home-like Hospital Birth Conference
At the beginning of December the AIMaizing team of AIM Group International - Prague office had the honour to co-organize together with NGO Birth House Stork the Home-like Hospital Birth Conference which was the first conference of this kind organized in the Czech Republic. The main aim of this conference was to promote mother-baby friendly environment in Czech hospitals and natural birth as such. Many representatives from all over Europe came to Prague to show their best practices and share knowledge among each other.
Václav Havel Airport Prague Handles 13 Millionth Passenger
Václav Havel Airport Prague has set a record. Towards the end of the year, the airport exceeded the 13 million serviced passengers mark. The record was set on 30 December 2016 shortly after 9 a.m. Jan Kohoutek, returning to Prague with his fiancée from Istanbul, became the 13 millionth handled passenger of 2016.
