Direct Flight Connection to Operate between Prague and Toronto from June to September

From 6th June on, passengers will be able to benefit from a direct connection between Prague and Toronto, with the first boarding in Prague in the direction to Toronto on 7th June. This comfortable route will operated by Air Canada three times a week until 29th September.

For seven years, the Czech Republic has not had a direct flight connection with Canada. And, according to the Letuška.cz portal, the route was definitely missing in the flight schedule, as customers are already showing great interest in tickets in advance sales. "We normally sell hundreds of tickets to Canada per month, but with a new route, it can be many times over. Ticket prices are very reasonable, especially if passengers buy tickets well in advance. In addition, the competition on the route between Europe and Canada is great. Another positive aspect is that the direct flight simplifies travel to the whole of Canada, as Toronto is a transfer point for subsequent connections to Montreal, Halifax, Vancouver or Winnipeg," said Josef Trejbal, director of the Letuška.cz portal. The route between Prague and Toronto will be operated by Air Canada from its launch on 6th June to 1st September with an Airbus A330-300 with a total capacity of 297 seats, followed by a Boeing 787-800 Dreamliner with a capacity of 255 seats from 2nd to 29th September.
