Etihad Airways in Prague for the First Time with Its Offer of Abu Dhabi Long-haul Flights
Etihad Airways is going to offer direct flights to Abu Dhabi from Prague effective 2 June 2025. Václav Havel Airport Prague will thus get a connection with the capital of the United Arab Emirates after almost eleven years. The carrier will deploy a Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner with a capacity of 270 seats on the route, which will be operated four times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
“We are very pleased that after almost 11 years, and a number of negotiations, it is now possible to confirm the launch of a connection between Prague and Abu Dhabi by Etihad Airways and the carrier’s Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner. The airline will start flying to Prague for the first time in its history, so the agreed frequency of four flights a week is also a great outcome of our negotiations. With this step, our network of long-haul flights is expanding again, and we are able to offer passengers another important Middle East destination with great local potential and a network of connecting flights to Asia, Africa, and Australia,” said Jiří Pos, Chairman on the Prague Airport Board of Directors, commenting on the news.
