Etihad Airways to Offer Regular Flights from Prague to Abu Dhabi, Reduce Prices of Long-Haul Tickets

From 2nd June on, passengers travelling from Prague will have their long-haul travel options significantly improved thanks to Etihad Airways' direct flight connection to Abu Dhabi. From here, it is easy to travel to distant metropolises of Asia, the Near and Far East, Africa and Australia. According to the plans, this should not be a seasonal affair, the connection should remain in the flight schedule permanently. According to the Letuška.cz portal, the route will have an impact on the price of long-haul tickets.

"The new regular flight to Abu Dhabi is great news for all long-haul travellers in the Czech Republic. Four times a week, it will provide connections not only to an interesting destination in the Middle East, but also to other attractive places such as Bangkok, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Male, Colombo, Delhi, Bali, Osaka, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney and others. This means increased competition on long-haul routes and stable convenient ticket prices. The good news is that the carrier plans winter connection as well," outlined Josef Trejbal, director of the Letuška.cz portal. He added that the flights will be operated by Etihad Airways on a Boeing 787-9 aircraft with a capacity of 299 seats, of which 28 are Business and 271 Economy. "Prices for tickets in Economy Class now start at CZK 10,000 and in Business Class they can be purchased from CZK 48,000," added Josef Trejbal.
