Exploring Prague Your Way: A Tailor-Made City Experience for 160 Guests by Passion for Prague

How do you create a meaningful experience for a group of 160 international visitors, each with different interests and expectations? By offering choice — and a chance to discover Prague through their own lens.

That was exactly the goal of a recent event organized by Passion for Prague, which began at Clarion Congress Hotel Prague. From there attendees embarked on six carefully designed thematic tours — all available in both English and German.

Participants could choose from themed experiences such as an Architecture & Kafka Tour, a relaxing Boat Trip with Guided Walks, an adventurous Bike Tour, a playful Treasure Hunt, classic Sightseeing by Vehicle, or a flavourful Food Tour that introduced the best of Czech cuisine.

This customized approach allowed everyone to discover the Czech capital through different lenses: culture, cuisine, nature, architecture, and even adventure.

The Food Tour quickly became a favourite for those looking to explore Prague like a local — through its flavours. This culinary journey led the group to some of the city’s most beloved foodie spots, beginning with traditional bites at Masna butcher shop and sweet indulgences at Kolacherie. The tasting continued at Bistro Sisters for beautifully presented Czech-style canapés, before sitting down in a typical Czech restaurant to enjoy heartwarming dishes like Svíčková and Goulash. Along the way, participants didn’t just taste Czech cuisine — they learned the stories behind the recipes and the places that keep these traditions alive.

The Bike Tour offered an active and refreshing perspective on the city. Taking guests off the beaten path, the route led through the dynamic neighbourhood of Karlín, across the lush expanse of Stromovka Park, and up to the scenic Letná area. Along the way, participants enjoyed panoramic views, springtime blooms, and a unique glimpse into local life. This tour provided the perfect balance of nature, cityscape, and gentle exercise — ideal for those wanting to experience Prague beyond its historic centre.

For those preferring a slower pace, the Boat Trip with Guided Walks combined relaxing moments on the Vltava River with guided walking segments before and after. It allowed guests to admire the city’s architecture from both the water and the streets, blending leisure with insight.

The Sightseeing by Vehicle tour catered to those looking for comfort or with limited mobility, offering a comprehensive look at Prague’s must-see sights without the need for extensive walking — proof that inclusivity can go hand-in-hand with discovery.

For lovers of history and literature, the Architecture & Kafka Tour highlighted Prague’s status as a living textbook of architectural styles. The tour concluded with a visit to the Franz Kafka Museum in Malá Strana, tying together the city’s aesthetic and literary legacy.

For those in the mood for interaction and a bit of friendly competition, the Treasure Hunt added a playful twist. Teams tackled creative challenges throughout the city centre, connected with locals, and discovered hidden gems. The adventure concluded in a cozy local café, where stories were shared and prizes awarded.

Passion for Prague demonstrated how, with thoughtful planning, even a large-scale gathering can feel personal. By offering flexibility, local insight, and unique ways to connect with the city, Prague proved once again why it remains a top destination for tailor-made corporate and incentive events.
