From Prague Airport Across Continents
Václav Havel Airport Prague will be connected with various destinations across the world with more than 30 regular long-haul direct routes and charters in 2025. Many of the long-haul routes will be strengthened also thanks to the strategic cooperation with the CzechTourism agency.
Established air connections include those with Seoul, Taipei, New York and Dubai. Emirates air carrier will once again deploy the world's largest transport aircraft, the Airbus A380, on the above-mentioned route between Prague and Dubai after almost five years. This superjumbo with more than 600 seats will be landing at the Prague airport every day. The first flight of the aircraft is scheduled for December 1 this year.
Thanks to the newly announced direct route, tourists will be able to travel to Toronto, Canada three times a week from the Prague Airport already in June next year. In the same period, another direct route will be launched. After 11 years, Abu Dhabi will be again connected directly with Prague by four flights a week.
Thanks to these new routes, Václav Havel Airport Prague will reach its 2019 operational performance a year earlier than forecasted, in 2025, with more than 18 million passengers expected. Negotiations are still underway for other key direct routes, to destinations in Asia (such as Bangkok, Hanoi and New Delhi), North America (Philadelphia, Montreal, Chicago, Boston and Miami) or the Middle East.
