The Renovation of Novotel Praha Wenceslas Square Sets a New Standard for Comfort and Innovation in Hospitality
Accor, the world's leading hospitality group is pleased to announce the last stage of a comprehensive renovation of Novotel Praha Wenceslas Square. The modernization has been underway since January 2024 and is part of the group’s broader vision to modernize its properties and provide exceptional stays for guests from around the world. The renovation includes complete refurbishment of guest rooms as well as upgrades to public spaces, creating an innovative and functional environment for all travelers.
The hotel expects to welcome guests in its new spaces in the early Summer of 2025, as Novotel & ibis Praha Wenceslas Square. “Our goal is to create a space that meets the expectations of modern travelers—from elegant design to maximum functionality, with sustainability in mind. Since January 2024, a comprehensive renovation of Novotel & ibis Praha Wenceslas Square has been underway, representing a full-scale modernization of key areas to enhance comfort, aesthetics, and functionality. This ambitious project includes the complete refurbishment of 181 rooms at ibis and 146 rooms at Novotel, as well as upgrades to shared and relaxation spaces.
The renovation focuses on revitalizing the lobbies of both hotels, redesigning the restaurant at Novotel, and improving the fitness center, swimming pool, and wellness area. Additionally, the conference room is being upgraded to provide guests with a modern and inspiring environment for business meetings and social events.
The renovation is being carried out in phases, with all modifications expected to be completed by May 2025.
