We Organized Fam Trip for US Buyers
A total of 13 US buyers joined a four-day Prague familiarization trip that followed the B2B trade show IMEX organized annually in Frankfurt, Germany. In cooperation with the Czech Convention Bureau, the buyers had a chance to discover the hidden gems of Prague and visit one of the neighbouring regions.
The fam trip took place from Thursday, May 25 to Monday, May 29 and, except of the various site visits, it included also a B2B workshop with Prague suppliers, networking reception provided by Zátiší Catering at the Prague Congress Centre, and a presentation of various incentive activities. Thanks to these activities, the buyers could better understand what has Prague got to offer, learn more about its history at the guided tours through the city centre and Jewish quarter, rides with historic tram and cars or during a boat trip on the Vltava River. The Prague Castle area, Strahov monastery and Lesser Town are also essential places to visit with fam trips.
Trip to the city of Kutná Hora and St. Barbara’s cathedral, accompanied by a wine tasting and followed by a lunch at the Ratměřice castle were also part of the program. Gourmet experiences were also included. Welcome drink at the Lobkowicz Palace terrace provided a unique view of the city, the fame of the traditional Czech “koláče” has spread thanks to Kolacherie, and the mixology was presented at the Cloud 9 Sky bar & lounge of the Hilton Prague Hotel. Private farewell dinner with culinary show at the Augustine Hotel Prague provided by the restaurant’s chef was the highlight of the entire gourmet program.
