Orthopeadists And Traumatologist From Across Europe Gathered In Prague

On June 9th and 10th, GUARANT International organized the 11th Central European Orthopaedic Congress (CEOC) 2016. The congress was held under the auspices of the Mayor of Prague, Mgr. Adriana Krnáčová, MBA and the Rector of Charles University in Prague, Prof. MD. Tomáš Zima, DrSc., MBA.

The CEOC Congress has been regularly held since 1996 in various European cities. This year the venue was in Prague. The scientific and social programs were partly dedicated to the 700-year celebration of King Charles IV’s birth, who was responsible for the construction of most of Prague's major buildings and monuments.

A few of the topics for this meeting, organized by GUARANT International, were new trends in hip and knee endoprothetics, degenerative arthritis treatment, osteoporosis from an orthopaedic point of view along with many more. The topics were specifically selected in order to guarantee interesting and stimulating discussions. The meeting was held at the beautiful venue of Kaiserstejnsky Palace and was attended by a total of 150 delegates from 16 European countries.
