Practitioners In Prague Again At The WONCA Conference
The conference of general practitioners and family physicians WONCA returns to Prague after four years. The 22nd European Conference will be held at the Prague Congress Center at the turn of June and July.
The WONCA Conferences have become the most influential events for general practitioners from Europe and elsewhere, contributing to global awareness of the latest clinical primary care strategies and to the development of professional issues. We want to contribute to this tradition and to push the quality and significance of the conference going forward and to enhance the unique spirit of WONCA Europe.
The theme of this year´s event is "Growing Together in Diversity". It´s because the aim of the conference is promoting the idea that although we live in different countries with different cultures and other backgrounds, we have something to learn from each other and we can exchange experience and knowledge.
Delegates can look forward to a balanced program based on original contributions suggested by leading international professional societies and professional groups. The aim of the conference is to provide high-quality scientific content along with an interesting introduction of new knowledge and information. The latest technology will be used such as a mobile application with an interactive module and possibility to question speakers.
The augmentation of the program will also be a so-called exchange program where doctors from abroad can visit the Czech GPs ordinations.
The 22nd WONCA Europe Conference is being held under the authority of Mgr. Adriana Krnáčová, MBA, Mayor of Prague and prof. MUDr. Tomáš Zima, DrSc., Rector of Charles University.
