Prague City Hall Decides to Stop Supporting Events at Which Single-Use Packagings are Used

Prague City Council decided it will stop supporting events at which single-use packagings and dishes are used, and all the organisers will have to replace one-use cups, plates etc. with reusable ones, if they want to become eligible for any form of the City of Prague support.

The City Council undertakes the measure in order to reduce and eliminate the production of plastic waste, and waste in general. The Council itself and the organisations run by City of Prague will also be obliged to enable and encourage their staff to sort waste. Prague thus shows its determination to follow the principles of circular, waste-free economy.
