THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF PROTISTOLOGY IS RETURNING TO PRAGUE

At the turn of July and August, the OREA Hotel Pyramida Prague will host the 15th International Congress of Protistology. The research of protists has a long tradition in the Czech Republic as the first congress of the ICOP series took place in Prague in 1957. We are happy that after 60 years the congress is coming back to place where it all began.

The congress will focus on the diversity of free-living heterotrophic protists and algae, protists as parasites, the biochemistry and ecology of protists, and many others. Up to 500 specialists from around the world are expected to attend this great event.

The six-day program will also include the 2017 Annual Meeting of the International Society of Protistologists (ISOP) which will entail the Hutner Lectures, the Past President´s speech address, a members meeting, and a symposia.
