The XXV. Congress of the Czech Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine had Almost 1100 Attendees

On 3 – 5 October, 2018, GUARANT International organized the XXV. Congress of the Czech Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (CSARIM) at the Prague Congress Centre. An exhibition that celebrated the society’s twenty-fifth anniversary also took place during the Congress.

In addition to traditional topics, such as anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, and intensive care, the Congress also focused on current trends in these fields. These trends included the latest legal framework in anaesthesiology and intensive care, deepening of "soft skills", improvement of communication, and special topics, such as head transplants, artificial intelligence and anaesthesia.

Almost 1,100 professionals, which included many Czechs and international presenters, attended this year's edition of the Congress. In addition to medical specialists, Jan Mühlfeit, a global strategist, coach, mentor and author of the bestseller “The Positive Leader”, also gave a presentation.

The Congress was organized under the auspices of Minister of Health Adam Vojtech, Prague Mayor Adriana Krnacova, and Rector of Charles University in Prague Tomas Zima.
