La Fabrica
La Fabrika is a cultural centre in Prague's Holešovice. From the beginning it was conceived as a multi-purpose space, suitable for the creation and presentation of audiovisual projects, theatre and dance forms requiring non-traditional spatial solutions, multimedia exhibitions, performance, lectures, workshops, but also social meetings, exhibitions, concerts and classical-type theatre performances.
The complex was created by the interconnection, reconstruction and construction of several factory buildings from the early twentieth century, located between the streets of Dělnická, Komunardů and Port, according to the designs of the KAVA studio. The industrial origin saumaced La Fabrice with special charm and originality.
