Ryanair Launches 5 New Routes from Prague
Low-cost carrier Ryanair announced Prague Winter 2018 schedule with 5 new routes, which will deliver 1.6 million customers per year as Ryanair grows its Prague operation by 45%. The Prague winter schedule will offer five new lines: Amman (twice weekly), Eilat Ovda (twice a week), Marrakesh (twice weekly), Paris / Beauvais (three times a week) and Pisa (three times a week). The Amman, Paris and Pisa routes had been previously announced.
Norwegian to Launch Gothenburg Route
Norwegian Air Shuttle airline has just announced the launch of its new regular scheduled service to Gothenburg, Sweden, effective 27 April 2018. The carrier will operate its new route from Václav Havel Airport Prague with Boeing 737-800 for 186 passengers twice weekly – on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Prague will thus enjoy another regular scheduled connection with the second largest city in Sweden.
Immunogenetics Specialists gather in Prague at the EWIC 2018 Conference
The City Conference Center hosts the 12th East-West Immunogenetics Conference which will be held March 8th - 9th, 2018. The two-day agenda is devoted to sharing experiences in transplantation diagnostics and immunogenetic research. New important topics such as epitope matching for organ transplantation (epitope is the part of an antigen that is recognized by the immune system), Next Generation Sequencing and HLA antibody testing shall be presented
Ryanair Launches New Route to Tuscany and LOT to Increase the Number of Flights Between Prague and Warsaw
Ryanair has announced its plan to launch a new regular scheduled service to Pisa, Italy, effective 30 October 2018. Effective the start of the 2018 summer schedule, LOT, a Polish air carrier, adds another frequency on its route between Prague and Warsaw. Effective 3 May 2018, the carrier will operate additional six flights a week, making it up to five flights a day, on the route for passengers to choose from.
RYANAIR LAUNCHES NEW PRAGUE ROUTE TO PARIS BEAUVAIS
Ryanair, Europe’s favourite airline, today (17 Jan) launched a new Prague route to Paris Beauvais, which will run two times weekly, as part of its winter 2018 schedule, which will go on sale on the Ryanair.com website next month.

Vienna House, Austria’s largest hotel chain, which manages five hotels in the Czech Republic, has appointed Monika Hilm as the new General Manager of Vienna House Andel's Prague and Angelo by Vienna House Prague. As of 1 February 2018, Monika is also responsible for all Vienna House properties on the local market as a Regional Director.

Prague Improved Its Scoring Within the Ranking of the European Meeting Destinations
Meetings Star Awards ranking, compiled annually by Slovenian Kongres magazine, evaluates the European meeting destinations regarding their meeting infrastructure, marketing activities and a set of other factors. Among the XL meeting destinations capable to host more than 2,000 delegates, Prague ranked seventh with the 4.55 points out of 5.00 possible. In the New Europe region, the Czech capital occupies the first rank.
