Multifunctional Cultural and Congress Centre O2 universum was Approved for Use. The Construction of Hotel Next to the O2 arena has Started

Opening of the new multifunctional cultural and congress centre O2 universum is getting closer – the first band will perform in the new complex on the 26th of September. During the course of last weeks, the final approval to use the building has been issued. Bestsport company, the operator of the O2 arena, has been building the complex at a site called “small arena”. At the same time, Bestsport has launched construction of a hotel, which will grow up next to the O2 arena.

Prague Congress Centre in Profit in 2018!

Prague Congress Centre (PCC) achieved a profit of CZK 33 million in 2018, with a total company turnover of CZK 486 million. During the year, the modernization of the technical equipment of the centre continued, and 86 hotel rooms of the Holiday Inn Prague Congress Centre were modernized. Further development of the company counts with the construction of the New Hall in the coming years.

Czech Hotel Awards: InterContinental Prague Awarded Hotel of the Year for Congresses

372 rooms and suites, a newly renovated fitness center, 14 congress rooms and a famous Zlata Praha rooftop restaurant on the 9th floor. These are also the reasons, why InterContinental Prague was awarded Hotel of the Year 2019 by Czech Hotel Awards in the category Congress. Cvent also ranked it among the 25 best congress hotels in Europe.

For the first time in the history of the Burn Medicine Clinic (KPM FNKV), an International event focused on the treatment of burns, specifically of children, took place in Prague. Hilton Prague Named #1 for Meetings and Events in Europe by cvent

Hilton Prague was named the best from top hotels for meetings and events in Europe by industry-leading event management technology company, Cvent, Inc. It is the second year in a row Hilton Prague is being recognized as No.1 amongst Top 50 meeting hotels in Europe. The annual list was compiled by analyzing MICE booking activity through its Cvent Supplier Network, which sourced more than $16 billion and more than 42 million room nights in 2018.

Prague Will Become the Center of Emergency Medicine in October

Prague will welcome 2,000 specialists from around the world working in the field of emergency medicine in the middle of October. From 12 to 16 October, the 13th Congress of the European Society for Emergency Medicine (EuSEM) will take place in the Prague Congress Center. International Emergency Medicine Day – 27 May – addresses the topics of this field of medicine.
