Prague Airport is Opening a New Stand and Gate for Long-Haul Aircraft
Václav Havel Airport Prague is continuing with short-term development plans and opens for testing a new aircraft stand and gate with a new waiting area. The new reconfigured stand can service either one long-haul aircraft with a wing-span of 65 meters, or two smaller ones with a wing-span of up to 36 meters.
Korean Air to Service Its Seoul – Prague Route Using Dreamliners from October 2018
Korean Air has announced that, effective 29 October 2018, the carrier will use Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners for 269 passengers in a three-class seating configuration to service its route connecting Prague with Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Flights will still be offered three times a week during the winter schedule – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Prague Convention Bureau Held B2B Event in the UK
At the beginning of the congress season, from September 5 to September 6, Prague Convention Bureau organized another B2B event, this time in the United Kingdom. In cooperation with Ram Org, Prague Convention Bureau prepared a two-day programme in the following venues: Cliveden House hotel located 50 kilometres outside of London city centre and The Lygon Arms hotel in Worcestershire.
United Airlines Announces New Prague-Newark Route from June 2019
United Airlines has announced that it will offer flights between Prague and Newark, New Jersey, right beside the largest American city of New York, from 7 June 2019 (6 June in the U.S.).

Turkish Airlines to Service Istanbul Four Times Daily
Turkish Airlines will increase the number of its flights between Prague and Istanbul next year. Effective 27 May 2019, the carrier will add a fourth daily frequency to the existing three flights on the route.
The 7th International Conference on Hydrogen Technologies Affirmed the 50-year History of Hydrogen Research in the Czech Republic
The 7th International Conference on Hydrogen Technologies took place in Prague in mid-July 2017. The first idea to bring the Conference to Prague occurred already in 2009, when the relatively newly established Czech Hydrogen Technology Platform (HYTEP) granted the auspices for the candidacy. Professor Dr. Ing. Karel Bouzek became the local ambassador of the seventh edition of the Conference. Professor Bouzek was then awarded for bringing the event to Prague at the Ambassador Awards Evening held annually by Prague Convention Bureau.
