Russian air carrier, Ural Airlines, has confirmed that the carrier will fly between Václav Havel Airport Prague and Zhukovsky International Airport, airport servicing Moscow. Georgian Airways will increase the number of its flights between Prague and Tbilisi, capital of Georgia.
Prague Airport Continues to Implement New Technology: Passengers Can Now Use Virtual Information Service
Passengers can use another technological advancement at Václav Havel Airport Prague. A test run of a Virtual Information Service has been launched, providing passengers with updated information regarding departures and arrivals, for example, as well as details of services provided at the airport and transport options to/from the airport. The service will also help people find their way around the airport and direct them to the right check-in counter or gate. For now, the service will only be available in Terminal 1 Departure Hall. If the new technology proves useful, Prague Airport will consider implementing it at other points of operation around the airport.

Fashion Arena Prague Outlet Hotelier Competition 2018 Winners‘ Names Announced
On Friday 7 December, an informal award ceremony for the winners of the Hotelier Competition 2018 took place at the Fashion Arena Prague Outlet. 190 prestigious Prague hotels - almost double the previous year - competed in two categories. Six of them received vouchers for fashion shopping. This year, the first time in the competition history, a prize for individuals was awarded to Yevheniya Smetana from the King David Hotel. She won a shopping weekend in Lisbon for 2 persons.
Prague Summer Flight Schedule will Include Turkish Riviera and Florence
The leisure airline SunExpress, a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, has announced that the carrier will fly from Prague to Antalya, a popular summer destination located on the Turkish Riviera. New direct route was also announced by Vueling Airlines, that will launch a new direct flight from Prague to the capital city of the Italian region of Tuscany, Florence.

Prague Airport Breaks Another Record By Reaching 16 Million Handled Passengers A Year
The third historical record in a row has been broken at Václav Havel Airport Prague when the number of serviced passengers per year reached 16 million milestone on Wednesday December 12. This confirms the current trend that Prague Airport has been growing faster than the European average of airports in the same category. By the end of the year, the number of passengers serviced at Prague Airport is estimated to be 16.8 million, which means a 9% increase compared to 2017. The airport is expected to experience further growth in 2019.
