Hybrid Round Table Europe of the Union of International Associations (UIA) Heads to Prague
The already traditional Round Table Europe event of the Union of International Associations (UIA) will be held in the Prague Congress Centre on November 18 and 19. The 14th Round Table, hosted by the Prague Convention Bureau, is planned to take place in hybrid format, providing comfortable option for those delegates that are not able to attend the event personally in Prague.

2021 Winter Flight Schedule: Direct Connections from Prague to Almost 100 Destinations
Effective Sunday, 31 October 2021, the winter flight schedule comes in effect, offering direct connections from Václav Havel Airport Prague to 92 destinations, including exotic countries such as Kenya, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. There will also be new routes operated under the winter flight schedule, for example, to Tel Aviv, Naples, Odessa, Kyiv, Dubai and Amsterdam. The launch of Eurowings' base operations will also help facilitate the resumption and further development of air traffic.
Prague Improved its Position in International Meeting Destinations Competition, Despite Crisis
Slovenian Kongres magazine was evaluating international meeting destinations based on a set of 75 various criteria, this year for the tenth time already. Prague received 4.68 points out of 5 possible this year, thus defending its first place in the region of the so-called New Europe. It ranked fourth in the overall ranking of XL destinations with capacities for more than 2,000 delegates.
Czech Republic Boasts Some of Safest and Best Quality Food in World
According to the recently published results of the already ninth edition of The Global Food Security Index (GFSI) of The Economist - the British weekly periodical, the Czech Republic placed fifth in the ranking of food availability, quality or safety. In addition, the ranking, which compared 113 countries this year based on a set of 59 unique indicators, also focused on natural resources, their status or impacts and risks related to climate change.
Delta Air Lines to Resume Direct Air Connection with Prague
Delta Air Lines, American air carrier, is going to resume its direct flights from Prague to New York, JFK Airport, effective 26 May 2022. Throughout the summer flight schedule, the airline plans to operate the route up to seven times a week using Boeing 767-300 aircraft.
The City of Prague Declares Grants in the Field of Tourism for 2022

In mid-August, the hybrid Congress of the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) took place at the Prague Congress Centre, welcoming a total of about 1,700 delegates, 1,200 of whom joined the event virtually.
Czech Republic Awarded the Safe Travels Stamp
The Czech Republic has been awarded the international "Safe Travels Stamp" by the World Tourism & Travel Council (WTTC) and now holds the status of a safe destination. CzechTourism, the national tourism headquarters of the Czech Republic, applied for this stamp, and along with input from the Czech Chamber of Commerce, industry associations and the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, developed a set of preventive safety and hygiene recommendations for individual tourism sectors, which are binding for obtaining the Safe Travels stamp.
