Don’t Cancel Your Trip, Change the Date, and Save Tourism, CzechTourism Calls On Tourists
CzechTourism agency together with the Czech Forum of Tourism launched new series of photo posts for social media with an appeal saying „Change the Date, Don’t Cancel Your Trip, Please Save Tourism, We Love You“. New campaign presents the sights from all the 14 regions of the Czech Republic with Czech or English texts. Companies, entrepreneurs, and regions can download the artworks on the CzechTourism brand website and use them for their communication for free. The appeal will be also published on the CzechTourism’s international communication channels and social media.

Prague is the most female-friendly travel destination – that is the result of a recent analysis conducted by Taxi2Airport.com. The capital of Czech Republic has the highest overall score for female safety, ranking above all other popular destinations across the world.
Lenka Žlebková was Appointed as the CEO of the Prague Congress Centre
As of March 2020, Lenka Žlebková was appointed as the CEO of the Prague Congress Centre (PCC). She aims to place PCC among the most important European congress centres. In addition, she will also focus on development of the entire area, including public space around PCC and the planned construction of the New Exhibition Hall should help achieving it.

This year, the Prague Convention Bureau will, for the 11th time, award outstanding Czech scientists, professors, physicians and other excellent experts for their contribution to Prague’s meetings industry. Temporary Changes to Václav Havel Airport Prague Check-in Procedure
Prague Airport continues to implement projects designed to facilitate the airport’s modernization and capacity increases, such as the reconstruction of the baggage sorting area in Terminal 1, which will partially affect the passenger check-in process this year. From Sunday, 1 March 2020 until the end of August 2020, passengers on flights of 22 selected carriers will be checked in at Terminal 2 instead of Terminal 1.
Cubex Centre Prague and City Conference Centre to Host 3rd Annual Event Fest
The third year of the largest event festival in the Czech Republic, Event Fest, will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Event professionals and enthusiasts will meet in the Cubex Centre Prague and the City Conference Centre on a total area of more than 3,500 m2. Last year the festival welcomed more than 1,300 visitors. This year, the all-day festival will be divided into the Expo part and the international conference Event Vision.

Prague Convention Bureau together with partners organized a B2B corporate Prague InSpires MICE Fam Trip & Workshop, that was held in Prague from February 2 to February 4, 2020. The three-day event welcomed 49 European buyers from 13 European countries.
