New Long-Haul Flights to Doha, Qatar from Prague
Today, Qatar Airways has announced that as a part of its expansion, it will launch a regular scheduled connection between Doha and Prague at the start of the 2018 summer schedule. The route will be serviced with Airbus 330 and, alongside the direct regular scheduled service between Prague and the capital of Qatar, it will also offer the option of using connecting flights within the carrier’s Asian and Australian networks. Doha will thus become another long-haul destination with regular scheduled connections from Prague.

Prague Convention Bureau organized already eighth edition of the annual Ambassador Awards Evening ceremony. The gala evening took place on Thursday 13th April at the Residence of the Mayor of Prague, Ms. Adriana Krnáčová, who personally attended the ceremony and awarded the winners. The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Regional Development and the City of Prague. The gala evening was moderated by Veronika Paroulková.

Václav Havel Airport Prague Continues to Grow Investments of 27 Billion CZK Planned over Next Decade to Boost Development
Prague Airport has published its vision of the airport’s development over the next decade on the occasion of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the launch of its operations. Key strategic projects including the development of terminals and adjacent areas for aircraft, increases in the capacity of the runway system, changes to the public area in front of the terminal buildings and development plans for the greater airport area have been introduced. Implementation of the plans will allow the airport to handle 21 million passengers a year. Prague Airport plans to invest in the most important projects, namely extensions to Terminal 2 and the construction of a new parallel runway, about CZK 27 billion (1 billion EUR).
